Adam, Editor of The Daily Constitutional writes…
Christmas gifts? Bah! I'll give you TWO WORDS…
No, it's not what you think. The two words come from the Warrior Poets of London Walks, Simon and Nick. Nick first. What do you want for Christmas, Nick?
Well said, sir. We should point out that when we posed the question, Nick had just fought his way through a Friday night West End seething with frantic Xmas shoppers. And he had what appeared to be a fragment of a yellow Selfridge bag caught between his gritted teeth. But was he downhearted? Good God no! Like the great London Walks guide that he is, he leads by example. Consideration for everyone. That's all he wants. And so say all of us!
And last of all Simon, that wise man arriving from the East (Liverpool Street station). What does Simon want for Christmas? A man of few words and simple tastes Simon wants…
And you shall have it, Simon old son. And as an extra treat, you can take Christmas night off (Simon is one of the guides on the Christmas Day London Walks.)
Happy Christmas everyone!
