The Famous White Leaflet

Happens every year.

David Tucker hires a fresh-faced young assistant to help out with The Famous White Leaflet and they just can't handle the pace.

When young Kevin Welthorpe started work assisting David on the mammoth compiling, writing and editing job that is The Famous White Leaflet, he was a fresh-faced fellow full of the joys of life, barely 22 years of age. That was way back in the autumn of last year.

Here was the scene this morning on the Kilburn High Road…

… that self same 22-year-old brandishing the prize piece from Tucker's ceremonial sword collection, grey before his time, driven to distraction chasing London Walks guides to confirm dates and times, bamboozled by late nights, addled by adjectives.

As I said. Happens every year.

It's a helluva job producing The Famous White Leaflet.

But we think it's worth it.

And we hope you'll agree.

A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at
