Old Irish #RugbyWorldCup

The Irish take on Romania tonight at Wembley in the Rugby World Cup.

Ireland can claim to be home to the world's oldest football club in any code – Dublin University Football Club was founded in 1854.

Heated debate surrounds the issue, with Guy's Hospital here in London having founded a team as early as 1834 – but that side fell out of existence for a number of years in the 19th Century, making Dublin University the oldest team in continuous existence.
