From the Archive… The London Walks Podcast on London Poetry Part Two…
(This episode features a full supporting cast of London Walkers!)
David adds… Everybody
on the walk will get a wonderful, substantial – and completely free – portfolio
of London poems. It runs to about 70 poems. It's very special. It's been
privately printed (well, produced). A "limited edition." It's not for
sale. It's not obtainable any other way. You, my poetry walkers that morning,
will be the only people in the world who'll have a copy.
Hope to see a few of
you on Saturday, January 2nd at 10.45 am from St. James's Park Tube, the
Broadway/Westminster Abbey exit.
The walk will end up
near St. Martin in the Fields, in Trafalgar Square. Very near Charing
CrossStation and Leiester SquareTube.
A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.

Sounds interesting, but like many people, I will be away over the New Year, so I hope the walk will be repeated later in the year.
ReplyDeleteDear Michelle Ann, this walk is David's baby, he's spent a lifetime putting it together and I'm SURE he can be coaxed into presenting it again later in the year. We'll keep you posted here on The Daily Constitutional. Thanks for getting in touch,
DeleteHappy New Year!
