Friday is Rock'n'Roll #London Day: #BobDylan Wins #Nobel Prize

Friday is Rock'n'Roll London Day!

The Rock'n'Roll London Walk meets at Tottenham Court Road Station every Friday at 2pm.

Adam writes…

Following the news that Bob Dylan is the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature, today's Rock'n'Roll London Walk is dedicated to the great man.

Here's his most famous London location, down behind the Savoy Hotel filming the famous Subterranean Homesick Blues sequence for the movie Don't Look Back

And his most famous "un-London" moment. Huh? The famous bootleg that was known for years as "Dylan At the Royal Albert Hall" eventually turned out to be Dylan at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester - but the performance remains one of his most powerful. Responding to the taunt "Judas!" from an irate folkie angry at Dylan's new electric band, Dylan responded with much sound and fury…

Finally, here's the episode of the London Walks Podcast where Andy goes in search of Dylan right here in London…

The Rock'n'Roll London Walk is ONLY London Walk with its own dedicated comic book

Written by Rock'n'Roll London guide (and Daily Constitutional editor Adam) it's available in both print & digital formats at the London Bookstore online: and on The Rock'n'Roll London Walk on Fridays!
