A BIG Shout Out to #London Walker Phil Darnell!

London Walks guide and Daily Constitutional Associate Editor Richard III adds to his occasional series in which he puts one of our loyal London Walkers centre stage…

Phil Darnell is from Dallas, Texas.

He's been coming to London every year since 2002. Why London? It is so different from Texas. Plenty to do, he's never bored, nice people, great food, no cellphones, no decisions.

He estimates he's been on about 150 London Walks, including eight day trips.

His favourite walks, anything to do with ghosts, especially Ghosts, Gaslight and Guinness.

His advice to other London Walkers? Allow extra time for tube delays and toilets in central London are difficult to find, so plan accordingly.  Here's a photo of Phil in London…

Where is he?  Answers to the usual address. Clue: We visit this location on Ghosts of the old City.

A London Walk costs £10 – £8 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
