Daily Constitutional Associate Editor Richard III writes…
There are so many things to do here in
London in between going on London Walks. I went to Strawberry Hill, a short
trip to West London, the house of Horace Walpole. A riot of eccentric gothic
architecture.
I went with Victoria Wynn, one of the many
friends I have made amongst London Walkers. She hails from Edmonton in Canada
and has done more than ninety different London Walks since 2011.

Hill…
The painting we were looking at (above) is
of Robert Walpole, the first Prime Minister, father of Horace Walpole,
responsible for building Strawberry Hill and almost single handedly responsible
for the Gothic revival in Britain in the Nineteenth Century.
