It's the annual Daily Constitutional Christmas Shopping Guide!
Every year the London Walks guides round-up their fave shops and stalls along (or near) the routes of their London Walks tours.

This Christmas I'd like to recommend an
incredible book that ties in brilliantly with my Legal London walk on Fridays…
It's called The Rule of Law by Tom Bingham.
He was a law Lord (Lord Bingham) who was passionate about the law and an
inspirational speaker. Sadly he died five or six years ago but he wrote the
book for the lay person and it explains what we mean by the term and how it
developed not just in the UK but elsewhere. And on what we need to do to make
sure it remains paramount.
I think every household should have the
book and I've bought copies for my children as well!
It's a slim volume in paperback and very
easy to read.
The Rule of Law is available at Wildy's
which is super convenient as it's pretty much opposite where we finish the
Legal London tour!

About Your Correspondent:

Angela is one special actress. "She's
so good it's almost impossible to compliment her", as Frederic Raphael,
the author of The Glittering Prizes, said of her performance in that
award-winning series. A similarly smitten Clive James said of her "Helena
in the Royal Shakespeare Company's All's Well That Ends Well: "You
couldn't ask to hear the words better spoken".
