Friday is Rock'n'Roll London Day on The Daily Constitutional!

The Rock'n'Roll London Walk meets at Tottenham Court Road Station every Friday at 2pm.

DC Editor Adam writes…

I paid a visit to The Troubadour Club on Brompton Road the other day – my first in a long time.

The old stage is still marked - where Dylan and Paul Simon (and many more) played in the 60s…

And they've got a good night ahead on the 21st April - a tribute to the great Sandy Denny with The Julie July Band

See for full details.

Here's the late Sandy Denny performing her most famous song…

I was pleased to see that they still have a tribute to Paul Simon painted on the wall…

It was one of the many venues in Britain where Simon plied his trade on his first sojourn to London back in 1965.

He's coming back for one last gig later this year. If you're in London for Paul Simon at Hyde Park, and want to make the occasion that little bit more special,  you can book a private Simon In The 60s Tourget in touch with London Walks direct to enquire about availability.
